How to become an Interior Designer in India

 Interior design can be a very lucrative field for those with talent in design as well as interest in creating delightful customer experiences.The interior designers are in demand in marketing, architecture, corporate and event management for their talents and knowledge in design.Various jobs take up also include- CAD Designer, Design Consultant,furniture designer,Exhibition designer and many more. The students can go for a Bsc in Interior design or  BID(Bachelor of Interior Design) which are 3 year courses.

Another route could also be through Bachelor of Architecture where there student undergoes a 5 year course and becomes an architect. This allows the student greater scope in handling projects in architecture as well. This is  through an entrance exam- NATA (National Aptitude test in Architecture) or another through IIT JEE Paper-2.

Some students also choose to take a diploma in interior design which can also get them started in the filed without so many years of study.
